Brother MFC-6490CW
HELL YES.
I just received my order of a Brother MFC-6490CW, a multi-function center by Brother!
It can scan and print an enormous 11x17" ledger! It's about a foot tall, and only weighs a couple pounds.
Plus I managed to get it for only $107! BWAHAHAHA.
It can scan in at a highest resolution at, get this, 19200x19200dpi. I. Am. Not. Kidding.
It's such a high resolution scan it tells me that my 4 gigs of ram isn't enough memory to scan at that res. But seriously, this thing is so amazing I want all of you people I don't actually know to come over to my house and eat my food just so I can show it to you >__<

Skittlr
Ever want to have all your links to every website you have, every blog, your facebook, myspace, etc.? Skittlr allows you to create a free mini website that has a little floaty widget with all your links. The best part is clicking on a link takes you to the website, but keeps the widget allowing you to easily go to a different one.
Try it! It's free...
tinySpell
I'm finally back to introduce another useful application!
tinySpell is a wonderful standalone spell checker. It runs in the background checking every word you type for almost every single program you have. It's highly customizable and gives you a popup list for choosing a replacement word if you get something wrong. It can even spellcheck your clipboard!
There are two versions of tinySpell; a freeware version that works just fine for me, although on vista it gives an error each startup regarding the registration of a hotkey that I even told it not to register. The other version is a Plus version that has several neat extra features such as: instant correction, auto-replacements, the ability to add whole word lists, and more. I want to get it since it starts at only $10 and allows you to go all the way up to 35 if you want to gives the guy some extra cash.

Fences
Wow, this is cool.
I asked to be put on the beta list, and guess what? I was!
So I am now the proud owner of a Fences beta. This new program from Stardock is amazing.
You right click drag fences around your icons on screen and blamo! It holds them all in a easy to manage little mini screen. Look up at that screenshot.
Oh, and you can even have scrolling! Also, a quick double-click will hide all the icons from view so you can look at that beautiful desktop background I know you have. Or, even confuse your friends!

WordWeb
So here's the deal; I have this dictionary program on my old computer, and I was about to transfer it when I thought: "Heeey, maybe there's something better out there."
Guess what, there is.
WordWeb is a free application that functions both as a thesaurus and as a dictionary.
It's free as long as you "...Take at most two commercial flights (not more than one return flight) in any 12 month period.".
I think that's pretty reasonable, don't you?
Get it here.
